US Iran War Latest News Updates Today Live: The US military said on Wednesday that it had launched a new round of strikes on Iran to ensure the Strait of Hormuz remained open to maritime traffic. Meanwhile, Kuwait’s military announced on Thursday that its air defence systems had intercepted “hostile missile and drone attacks.”
Iran carried out strikes on Bahrain and Kuwait on Wednesday in response to an earlier wave of US airstrikes on its territory. Hours later, the United States launched fresh attacks after President Donald Trump said Iran’s recent assaults on ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz indicated that the already fragile ceasefire had effectively collapsed.
The latest escalation has raised fears of a renewed conflict in West Asia. It followed US strikes on several Iranian military installations and port facilities a day after Iran targeted multiple merchant vessels off the coast of Oman.

US Iran War Live: US Strikes Hit Railway Bridge In Northern Iran
US strikes hit the Aq Tekeh Khan Bridge and the Gorgan railway line near Aqqala in Iran’s northern Golestan Province, according to Iranian state media, Fars news agency.
The attack marks the deepest reported US strike inside Iran since March and the first reported US attack on Iranian transport infrastructure since the April ceasefire. The strikes come amid renewed military escalation between Washington and Tehran.

Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior said a siren was sounded on Thursday and urged citizens and residents to remain calm and move to the nearest safe place. The alert came after Iran warned it could target US military bases across the Gulf in response to Washington’s latest strikes on Iranian territory.
