Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made 52 off 17 balls in that match.Ahead of the Gujarat clash, Sooryavanshi continued to draw attention during a net session, where he faced England fast bowler Jofra Archer.Rajasthan Royals shared a video on X showing Sooryavanshi batting against Archer. In the clip, he was seen playing several attacking shots against the fast bowler. While short-pitched balls directed at his body caused some difficulty, he managed to connect well when the line and length were slightly off. One shot was pulled into the stands.

The video comes shortly before Rajasthan’s match against Gujarat Titans, a team Sooryavanshi has performed well against in the past. He holds the record for the fastest IPL century by an Indian, scoring a hundred in 35 balls against Gujarat Titans after making his IPL debut in 2025.For Gujarat, bowlers including Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Kagiso Rabada will be expected to manage him as Shubman Gill’s side looks for their first win of the season.
