Veteran Doraiswamy takes over as LIC CEO

MUMBAI: The country's largest life insurer has a new CEO. R Doraiswamy took charge as CEO & MD on July 14, for a term of three years. He succeeds Sat Pal Bhanoo, who had assumed interim charge after Siddhartha Mohanty retired last month.

Doraiswamy, a LIC veteran with 39 years at the insurer, was elevated from his role as MD.
