Vignan’s University to hold 13th convocation on August 2 and 3

Vignan’s University will host its 13th convocation on August 2, followed by its 3rd Online Education and 1st Polytechnic Education Convocations on August 3. Andhra Pradesh Governor Syed Abdul Nazeer will attend as the chief guest on August 2, and the guests of honour will be Chintalapathi Srinivasaraju (iLabs Group), Ashok Atluri (Zen Technologies), and playback singer Komanduri Ramachari, according to a communication by the university here on Friday.

On August 3, former IIM Raipur Director Ram Kumar Kakani will be the chief guest, with Galla Radha Rani (RR Sports) will be the guest of honour.

Vice-Chancellor Col. P. Nagabhushan announced that over 3,200 students will receive degrees, more than 2,000 on August 2 and around 1,200 the next day. Honorary doctorates will be conferred upon four eminent persons.

Awards for academic and extracurricular excellence will also be presented. The events will be attended by university leadership, council members, faculty, students and parents.
