A source told Mid-Day, "The wedding is said to follow a ‘primal’ theme, inspired by how marriages were celebrated decades ago, with simple traditions, rooted rituals, and an old-world charm being beautifully recreated. The decor will highlight a celebration that feels both intimate and authentic."The insider further shared with the publication that Rashmika's family will be giving coconuts, betel leaves, fruits, sweets, and turmeric-kumkum to Vijay's family.According to the report, the wedding, as per the Telugu Hindu rituals of Vijay Deverakonda's family, is set to take place at 8 am in the morning. Meanwhile, the ceremony as per the Kodava rituals is reportedly set for the evening.

The wedding festivities kicked off on February 24, 2026, in Udaipur. Guests arrived for the Sangeet, Mehndi, and Haldi ceremonies. They were served Japanese cuisine for dinner on one of the nights.
Both sides also engaged in a cricket and a volleyball match. Vijay and Rashmika dropped the glimpses from their Haldi ceremony on their respective Instagram accounts. The ceremonies are taking place at the Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya, Udaipur.After the wedding, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are set to host a reception in Hyderabad on March 4, 2026. As per the reports, the event will take place at Taj Krishna.
