Vijay Sethupathi launches Atharvaa's 'Valai' title teaser; dual avatar promises an intense film

Atharvaa is all set for his upcoming lead film, 'Valai'. After doing a supporting character in 'Parasakthi', he is ready to embark as the hero for the one-man show action film that is releasing shortly.

The team is already busy promoting the film by generating massive curiosity towards the project. Imposing title, a picturesque seaside setting, and a grim storyline, as a whole, Valai has been created as a mighty and serious film that is a huge step in Atharvaa’s career as he leads the actor.

Going by the appearance of the first look teaser, 'Valai' seems to be a fast-paced action thriller on a beach or seashore with high-octane actions and some emotional elements along with other things.

‘Valai’ boasts of a very good cast who gave it the weight required for success. The movie features the talents of Rupa Manjari, Vani Bhojan, Murali Sharma, Aadukalam Naren, Jayaprakash, Arjai, Arul D Shankar, Thulasi, Mayilsamy, Imman Annachi, among others.

Music for the movie has been composed by Ghibran, and the movie is edited by Sathish Suriya. With such a strong technical crew and a multi-star cast, ‘Valai’ promised to be visually exquisite.

Atharvaa’s latest release and what’s next

Atharvaa was last seen as Sivakarthikeyan’s younger brother in Sudha Kongara’s period political drama 'Parasakthi', which is all set to release on OTT on February 7 on ZEE5 across multiple languages. The film also features Sreeleela and Ravi Mohan. Atharvaa will next be seen in 'Idhayam Murali', a romantic drama starring Kayadu Lohar, Preity Mukhundan, Rakshan, and Niharika NM, and directed by producer Aakash Baskaran. The film is due to be released.
