Vietnamese carmaker VinFast has released the first teaser of its upcoming electric MPV for the Indian market. The model is widely expected to be the MPV 7, which has already been spotted testing on Indian roads in recent months.The upcoming model will be a seven-seater. While the Limo Green is expected to cater more to fleet and commercial buyers, the MPV 7 will be positioned as a more premium offering for private customers. This will make it a direct rival to models like the Kia Carens Clavis EV in the Indian market.

In terms of design, we can expect a modern look with VinFast’s signature V-shaped LED lighting elements at the front and rear. Dimensionally, the MPV is expected to be spacious, with a three-row layout aimed at both urban families and long-distance travel needs.

Inside, the cabin is likely to follow a minimalistic approach, with a large infotainment touchscreen at the centre of the dashboard. It will also get a digital instrument cluster and might also include features such as large alloy wheels, leatherette upholstery, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, rear AC vents, adjustable seats and more.
VinFast's new electric MPV for India: Expected powertrain
As for the powertrain, the electric MPV is expected to use a front-mounted motor producing 201 hp and 280 Nm of torque. It is likely to be paired with a 60.13 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of around 450 km on the NEDC cycle. The MPV 7 is expected to be launched in the coming weeks and will likely be VinFast’s third product for India. More details, including variant, features and pricing, are expected to be announced closer to its official debut.
