Viral Bengaluru Stunt Lamborghini Traced To Ex-Don’s Son, Police Issue Notice

Police registered an FIR against the owner of the luxury sports car bearing a Karnataka registration number after the video of the incident went viral.

Bengaluru traffic police have seized a luxury sports car, a Lamborghini Huracan, after a video showing the vehicle allegedly performing dangerous drifting manoeuvres surfaced widely on social media, officials said on Sunday.

The car was traced to the residence of Ricky Rai, son of late former underworld operative Muthappa Rai. Police have issued him a notice asking him to appear for questioning in connection with the case.

However, police sources said it remains unclear who owns the vehicle or whether Rai himself was driving at the time of the stunt. Authorities said inquiries and verification are still underway.

Earlier, on Saturday, police registered an FIR against the owner of the luxury sports car bearing a Karnataka registration number after the video of the incident went viral. The incident is believed to have taken place between 2 am and 3 am near Anil Kumble Circle.

The footage shows the car executing drifts and high-speed turns, allegedly putting public safety at risk.

Police said the driver was seen performing stunts, including repeatedly circling the junction. Some passengers were also visible standing out of the sunroof and shouting.

“An FIR has been registered under sections pertaining to rash and negligent driving and endangering human life and efforts are being taken to trace those involved in the act," a senior police officer said on Saturday.
