Many on the internet reacted to the actor's post with criticism, calling him out for supporting Kirk and asking for his ban.

“Why aren’t you praying for all those kids who were just murdered in that high school the other day? That also JUST happened. Or do you only pick and choose when you care about gun violence? I think he would’ve been happy going out this way. He himself said some have to die,” wrote a person.“Can Chris Pratt actually just stop getting more and more irritating genuinely,” added another. However, there were many netizens who came out in support of the actor's comments for the deceased activist.

"The intolerant left have started a campaign to pressure Disney into dropping Chris Pratt after he posted a message praying for Charlie Kirk and his family. They really are vile," wrote one."Two days ago, I had no idea who Chris Pratt was. Now, he's far and away, my favorite actor!!!!!! He's a Christian, a family man, and a good guy just like Charlie. That makes him disliked in Hollyweird for sure. Cheers for Chris Pratt!!!!!!!! God bless him!!!!," added another."Chris Pratt is a good man and a good Christian," praised one.
