BJP President Nitin Nbain on Monday launched a sacthing attack at Abhijeet Dipke-led outfit Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) alleging that “virus and cockroach people" are a gang that wants to divide the country and break it into pieces.

While addressing a gathering during his three-day visit to Telangana, Nabin claimed that parties like the CJP were attempting to weaken the nation and urged party workers to remain vigilant.

“Parties like virus and cockroach are coming into the country. These are people who want to make the country hollow. There is a need to pay attention to these virus and cockroach people. The gang wants to divide the country," Nabin said.

He asserted that only BJP workers could defeat such “divisive forces" and credited party workers for helping the BJP emerge as the world’s largest political party.

The BJP chief also took a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, descrbing him as a “part-time politician".

Congress leader “Rahul baba is a part-time politician", while BJP activists engage themselves in full time politics and public service, he said.

Nabin also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, describing him as a “part-time politician", while contrasting him with BJP workers whom he said were engaged in full-time politics and public service.

The BJP leader further accused the Congress leadership of failing to honour former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao, alleging that the Gandhi family does not respect leaders outside the Nehru-Gandhi family. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi later honoured Rao by conferring the Bharat Ratna on him.

What Is Cockroach Janta Party?

Cockroach Janta Party, a satire platform, emerged as one of India’s most talked-about online campaigns. It gained over 20 million followers on Instagram within a week of its launch.

The viral movement was launched on May 16 by Abhijeet Dipke, a political communication student based in the United States. It was a parody page which was launched after Chief Justice Surya Kant called young, unemployed Indians ‘cockroaches’, but it soon turned into a full-blown political outfit.

It also held protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case and alleged irregularities in the CBSE’s on-screen marking (OSM) system used for the evaluation and re-evaluation of Class 12 board examination papers.

The CJP is demnading the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the irregularities and paper leak allegations linked to the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET)-UG conducted on May 3.
