 Discipline is everything when it comes to fitness and life

Actor Vishaal Mohan champions consistency and discipline in fitness, prioritizing 7-8 hours of sleep, ample water, and dedicated gym time.

Actor Vishaal Mohan, who has been steadily building his film career, believes that fitness is less about trends and more about consistency, balance, and discipline. Sharing his daily routine, he says, “I try to sleep for 7 to 8 hours, drink 2 to 3 litres of water, and spend around 2 hours in the gym.

I also go for walks during the week and do breathing exercises while spending time in nature.”His diet, too, follows a structured approach. “My day starts with black coffee and multivitamins. I try to keep my calorie intake around 1500,” he explains.However, he admits that maintaining this routine during shoots can be challenging. “When I’m working, sleep and diet get affected. So I rely more on fruits, vegetables, juices, and liquids to maintain energy.”When it comes to food preferences, Vishaal keeps things simple. “I love hummus and chicken. Dal khichdi and egg bhurji are something I can eat anytime,” he says, adding that he does allow himself occasional indulgences. “I believe in cheat days. I enjoy ice cream, pani puri, sprout salad, and pav bhaji."Fitness-wise, he prefers strength training. “I enjoy weight lifting more than cardio. Legs and shoulders are my favourite to train. Stay disciplined, eat right, stay hydrated—and trust the process. Nothing happens overnight.”
