Vishakha Subhedar breaks down as son finally returns home after being stranded in Kuwait for 10 Days amid US-Iran conflict

Marathi actress Vishakha Subhedar shared a video on Instagram a few days ago, revealing that her son was stuck in Kuwait due to the US-Iran conflict. In the video, the actress was seen crying and urging Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for help to bring her son back to India. The latest update is that the actress has reunited with her son Abhinay Subhedar.

Vishakha and her family went to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to welcome him. When she saw her son after several days, she hugged him tightly. The reunion was very emotional, and both mother and son broke down seeing each other.

The actress expressed her happiness while speaking to ABP and shared, "When I recorded that video, I had tears in my eyes, and today these are tears of happiness.

I saw my son after almost 10 days. When he used to tell me that missiles and drones were falling near the hotel where he was staying in Kuwait, I would get extremely tense.”She further mentioned about being scared for her, "I was very scared, but today I am extremely happy to see him. After returning, he told us in detail about the situation there. He said sirens were going off day and night, which created a constant atmosphere of fear.”

Vishakha also shared that her son was not the only one who came back. She mentioned that nearly 120 people returned to India the same day. Many of them had been unable to travel earlier because of visa-related problems. She shared, "Today 120 people have returned. Among them, 24 had their visas stuck. The government helped everyone. I posted that video to find a way to bring my son back, and Eknath Shinde immediately took note of it.

"The actress revealed how due to airspace restrictions and visa complications, bringing her son back to India from Kuwait was a difficult task. She said, "Some people were saying arrangements could be made quickly from Dubai, but it was difficult from Kuwait. The airspace was not available there, which made me even more worried. But the government immediately took notice and set things in motion. After the Kuwait visa, a Saudi visa was also required.

The embassy made all the arrangements. Because of this entire system working together, Abhinay has returned home today, and I am very grateful to them.”For the uninitiated, Vishakha's son was traveling to London and had to deplane in Kuwait for a layover.
