New Delhi: Vivo has finally responded to the launching its most rumored Vivo V70 series in India on February 19. In this V70 series, we see two models: Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite. The Vivo V70 series will come with Zeiss-backed camera systems, including a telephoto lens which offers up to 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. Vivo has also confirmed that the Vivo V70 Elite will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, while the standard Vivo V70 is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. Both models are paired with the LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 onboard storage.
Vivo V70 series features a 6.59-inch flat display design with a metal frame. The device will use a 1.5K AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it is claimed to get peak brightness of up to 5000nits. In terms of photography, the Vivo V70 series includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera sensor. Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite will come with a 50MP Zeiss telephoto camera using the Sony IMX882 sensor, offering up to 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. On the front, there is a 50MP primary camera sensor for selfies and video calling, and both devices can record video up to 4K 60fps with zoom capability up to 3x.
The Vivo V70 series will feature the IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The Vivo V70 device will be equipped with a 6500mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging, along with bypass charging. Vivo V70 Elite uses an X-axis linear motor to deliver 4D vibration feedback during gaming and other interactions. Vivo V70 series will run on Android 16 based on OriginOS 6, and it also includes a range of AI and productivity features.
