Vivo X Fold 6 set to debut with enhanced battery life and durability

New Delhi: Vivo is now all set to introduce its most-awaited and most rumored Vivo X Fold 6 on June 26, and Vivo has already opened the pre-orders for the device in China. Vivo has recently started teasing the book-style foldable device via its latest promotional posts, by previewing the key specs. Vivo X Fold 6 is confirmed to provide improved battery and durability over last year’s Vivo X Fold 5. However, the upcoming Vivo X Fold 6 is going to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor.

In a recent Weibo post, Vivo executive, Han Boxiao confirmed that the Vivo X Fold 6 will be going to houses with the massive 7,000mAh Blue Ocean battery, marking a notable update over the previous 6,000mAh battery used on Vivo X Fold 5. This battery of the upcoming foldable is claimed to feature Vivo’s first fifth-generation silicon anode technology. Vivo X Fold 6 has claimed to offer up to 9.8 hours of battery life under heavy usage and a 30% improvement in performance over the previous model. The battery is stated to provide stable battery life even in the minus 20-degree Celsius conditions.

The company also confirmed to provide an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It has also been teased to feature a lightweight hinge for stable opening and closing during continuous folding. This device has an updated Universal Signal Amplification System 3.0, which features a self-developed 1+4 communication processor with one Universal Signal Amplification chip and four Wi-Fi enhanced wall-penetrating processors. It has also claimed to offer improved signal reception and communication in places like high-speed rail, high-rise elevators, and highways.
