New Delhi: Vivo might be launching another smartphone in the X300 series as it announces the new Vivo X300e. The Vivo X300e is a new addition that could be part of the Vivo X300 series, so the company is expecting another new handset from the brand. The company hasn’t officially stated anything about the device yet, but a brand new leak has uncovered virtually all of its major specs. The coming-up smartphone is supposed to have flagship-level performance specification, huge battery, and a high-end camera system and stands to be a captivating addition to the X300 series.

The Vivo X300e’s screen, as leaked by several sources, will be a 6.59 FLAT OLED, having a resolution of 1.5K. However, the display is slightly larger than what the Vivo X300 FE features, providing more screen space for users to watch videos, play games, and use on a daily basis. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is expected to be Qualcomm’s sole powering option for the smartphone. The same chipset is also reported to feature in the Vivo X300 FE, thus there is a likelihood of getting the flagship performance feat in the areas of multitasking, gaming, and for demanding apps. The phone will also be expected to come equipped with up to 16GB of RAM as well as 1TB of onboard storage, offering some additional flexibility on the memory front with options to be found in different markets.

Another feature of the upcoming device is the camera system. Vivo X300e is expected to have a 50MP selfie camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera on the back. The front could also feature a 50MP selfie camera. The leak also said that all cameras on the new smartphones will get the benefit of Zeiss imaging technology, which has been the hallmark of Vivo’s flagship phones and is known to enhance the image quality and accuracy of its images.

One of the largest enhancements might be the battery. Vivo X300e is likely to have a monster 7,100mAh battery and support for 90W fast wired charging. The packaged phone, despite its massive battery, is said to be just 7.99mm thick and weigh about 203g, which is surprisingly slim for its battery. Its chances of being accurate are near 100%. If the leak is accurate, it could give a full day of heavy-duty use on one charge.

Compared with the X300 FE, the design will also likely be different. Rather than a round/horizontal camera module, the Vivo X300e could include a square-shaped camera island at the top left on the back panel. Other rumored features are an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a metal frame for a more premium feel. Vivo has not said anything about the date or price of the X300e. But the smartphone is slated to hit the Chinese market first, then other markets. For now, these are just leaks and not actual specifications.
