New Delhi: Recently, Vivo has silently unveiled its latest budget 5G device in China. Vivo launches its Vivo Y6a with the aim of long battery life, durability, and a smooth display experience while providing a Snapdragon processor and the latest OriginOS software at a budget price point.
It features a 6.75-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor.
It is coupled with an 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It houses a 7,200mAh battery with support for 44W wired fast charging. The company claims that the battery is specially designed to retain its health for up to 6 years, with the rated lifespan of 1,800 charging cycles.
It offers a 50MP main camera sensor and an 8MP selfie shooter. It also supports an 8GB virtual RAM and runs on Android 16 based on OriginOS 6.
It also features stereo speakers, NFC, an IR Blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, dual SIM support, and an IP69 and IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. In terms of connectivity options, include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, and support for aptX Adaptive audio codecs.
