Arvind Kejriwal attacked the BJP-led NDA government over the NEET paper leak and urged Gen Z to resist injustice. He also called the investigation into the paper leak cases an eyewash.
The Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, launched a scathing attack against the BJP-led NDA government over the paper leak and the cancellation of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). In a video uploaded on his social media account, Kejriwal urged Gen Z to wake up and fight against injustice and the misrule of the centre.
“Since the Narendra Modi government assumed power in 2014, 93 paper leaks have been reported in the country. Most of these leaks have occurred in double-engine and triple-engine-led states like Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat. The future of at least six crore students has been ruined. So, I want to ask Gen Z, will it continue like this, or will you do something?”
Recalling the uprising in Nepal and Bangladesh, where Gen Z played the most important role in the toppling of respective governments, Kejriwal said, “If Gen Z can oust governments in Bangladesh and Nepal, can’t they send our corrupt (BJP) leaders to jail?”
In the video, which was part of a joint press conference, Kejriwal also called the investigation into the paper leak cases an eyewash. He said that every year, the CBI arrests a certain number of people who later get released and plan the next paper leak scam. Pointing his finger at the centre, he then said that the NDA government doesn’t let CBI investigate, as it would lead to trouble for them.
AAP LEADERS TARGET BJP SINCE PAPER LEAK
Other than Kejriwal, several other AAP leaders also fired their shots at the BJP over the paper leak.
In line with Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia also warned the centre of a Gen Z movement against the government.
“This is Gen Z. You cannot intimidate or threaten them using agencies like the ED or the CBI. If you fail to deliver justice, they will inflict upon you the very same fate that Gen Z meted out in Nepal,” he said.
AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj on his X account wrote that the people of India want a real and neat government; however, they get a neet and reel government.
