On Wednesday, ESPN broke the news that the Lakers were acquiring Kessler from the Jazz, sending two unprotected first-round picks and two pick swaps to Utah in return. He's since joked that dating Miss America wasn't exactly something he saw coming.Stockard, now 23, is pursuing pediatric nursing and has said the engagement will likely mean spending more time in Los Angeles as Kessler settles into his new team.
