TARN TARAN: In a horrifying incident at Tarn Taran’s Usma Law College, a first-year student shot dead her classmate inside a classroom before turning the weapon on himself. The shocking act was captured in full on CCTV, which revealed that the entire tragedy unfolded in just four to five seconds.

The footage shows the suddenness and severity of the attack, leaving no time for anyone in the classroom to react. The tragic crime took place on Monday, creating panic among students and faculty. According to senior superintendent of police (SSP) Surendra Lamba, the deceased female student has been identified as Sandeep Kaur, while the accused is Prince Raj Singh, who allegedly opened fire on Sandeep before shooting himself in the head.Both students were in their first semester at the college. Witnesses reported being stunned by the sudden gunshots, prompting immediate police intervention.Sandeep Kaur died on the spot.SSP Lamba confirmed that police have begun a detailed investigation into the motive behind the murder-suicide attempt.“CCTV footage from the college is being obtained, statements of students and staff are being recorded, and all angles are being examined,” he added.
