Novak Djokovic celebrated his US Open quarter-final victory over Taylor Fritz with dance moves from "KPop Demon Hunters" movie, taught by his daughter Tara who turned 8 on Tuesday, after winning the match 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 at Arthur Ashe Stadium.After the match point and greeting Fritz at the net, Djokovic broke into a dance routine on the court.The 24-time Grand Slam champion dedicated the win to his daughter who was not present at Flushing Meadows.WATCH: Novak Djokovic dances on court after US Open win"We are at home doing different choreographies, and this is one of them," Djokovic said. "Hopefully I'll make her smile when she wakes up in the morning."
The dance routine was inspired by "KPop Demon Hunters," the Sony Pictures/Netflix movie currently topping global rankings. The film follows fictional K-pop group HUNTR/X fighting demons and has sparked widespread fan engagement through art, covers, cosplay, and choreography.The movie's soundtrack has achieved significant success, debuting at No. 1 on Billboard's Soundtracks chart and reaching No. 8 on the all-genre Billboard 200.
