Wayne Gretzky’s daughter Paulina posts rare family throwback to celebrate Trevor Gretzky’s 33rd birthday

On Sunday, September 14, 2025, Paulina Gretzky marked her younger brother Trevor Gretzky’s 33rd birthday with two heartfelt Instagram stories. The first was a throwback from their childhood, showing Trevor as a little boy standing on the ice with Paulina, their mother, Janet Gretzky, and their father, Wayne Gretzky, dressed in his Los Angeles Kings uniform.

Trevor Gretzky welcomes baby Wayne William with Ashley Malinchak

Earlier in September 2025, Trevor Gretzky and his partner, Ashley Malinchak, announced the birth of their second child. They welcomed a baby boy named Wayne William, a tribute to his father, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky.

Trevor Gretzky shared the news on Instagram with a picture of the newborn dressed in a white onesie and hat embroidered with his name. Alongside the photo, Trevor wrote, “I love you, Buddy G.”

Trevor and Ashley already have a daughter named Phoenix. With the arrival of their son, the Gretzky family has grown even bigger this year. Just last month, Wayne’s youngest daughter, Emma Gretzky and her partner, Stone Eby, welcomed a baby boy named Walter.Wayne Gretzky, known as “The Great One”, now has seven grandchildren.
