WBCHSE Admit Card 2026 released for Class 12 HS students, collect hall ticket from schools

The West Bengal Board of Higher Secondary Education has released the WBCHSE Admit Card 2026 for students appearing in the Higher Secondary examinations under the old syllabus. The admit cards have been issued for Class 12 candidates enrolled for the Semester IV Examination and the Supplementary Examination of Semester III.According to the official notification, all examination-related materials, including admit cards, have been distributed to authorised schools on January 28, 2026. Students are required to collect their physical hall tickets directly from their respective schools before appearing for the examinations.Admit cards issued through schoolsWBCHSE has clarified that the admit cards are not meant for direct student download.

Instead, the board has made the admit cards available online only for school authorities through the official council portal at wbchse.wb.gov.in. School principals or authorised administrators are responsible for downloading, printing, and distributing the hall tickets to eligible students.The admit cards issued are applicable exclusively to candidates registered under the old syllabus. These include students appearing for the Semester IV Higher Secondary Examination and those taking the Supplementary Examination of Semester III.

Revised release following distribution of exam materialsThe board stated that the release of the admit cards coincides with the distribution of examination materials to schools and examination centres. These materials were handed over through special camps organised by the council for authorised institutions. As a result, WBCHSE revised and confirmed the admit card issuance timeline to align with the logistical distribution process.The council opened the online access so that the schools would download the hall tickets with the completion of material distribution. The students are encouraged to contact their schools after the issuance of the admit cards in the area.Procedures involved in school downloading of hall ticketsThe school authorities can use the official site to visit the login section and access the WBCHSE Admit Card 2026. Once the School or Council Admin option has been chosen, the administrators are required to key in their assigned username and password.

After logging into the site, the admit cards of Class 12 are shown on the screen to be downloaded and printed.Schools have the responsibility of verifying and being timely in the provision of hall tickets to the students after printing to enable them to be ready to be examined.

Instructions for studentsThe original printed admit card is to be obtained by the students in the respective schools and all the personal and examination details provided on the printed admit card have to be checked with care. The hall ticket is an essential document to get access into examination centre and the candidates are expected to bring them along all the examination days.WBCHSE has recommended that students must report any mismatch in their admit cards to school authorities as soon as possible to be corrected in time before the examinations begin.
