"We're inseparable": Travis Hunter had shut down hate toward Leanna Lenee after fans thought she was "furious" about his popularity

Back in December 2024, Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee were at an Adidas pop-up event which was held at the brand’s flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York City.

While Travis Hunter was spotted to be clicking pictures with his fans, Leanna Lenee was spotted sitting next to him on a sofa.However, fans were quick to assume that Leanna Lenee was “furious” at fans taking pictures with Travis Hunter and made comments such as, “What am I supposed to do? Just sit here?”This had sparked outrage among fans as many brutally trolled Leanna Lenee. However, Leanna Lenee soon posted a video on TikTok where she clarified what really happened.Leanna Lenee said, “I said, ‘Do you want me to sit here? Or do you want me to go with the family? Or do you want me to come with you?’ Because again, what y’all don’t know off of a seven-second clip, is those weren’t fans, by the way, he had already finished that part,” Lenee said in the TikTok, which lasts just under eight minutes.”But this had not stopped fans from trolling Travis Hunter’s then fiancee.

This then led the Heisman Trophy winner to issue a statement on Twitch.

Travis Hunter said, "Y'all hate on me and then y’all go hate on my girl. I feel the same pain that she feel…We're inseparable [sic], we’re with each other. If she hurting, of course I'm going to be hurting."
