TVK chief Vijay on Thursday attacked the ruling establishment over corruption and lack of basic amenities, asserting that his party would form an “honest government" if voted to power.
Addressing supporters, Vijay alleged large-scale corruption under the current regime, claiming irregularities running into thousands of crores. He also flagged poor infrastructure in government schools, saying even basic facilities like toilets remain inadequate.
He accused the ruling parties of making promises without implementation and urged voters not to trust either the DMK or the BJP.

He announced a monthly support of Rs 4,000 for graduates and Rs 2,000 for diploma holders, while also pitching initiatives aimed at boosting employment and entrepreneurship among youth.
Poll Schedule
Tamil Nadu will go to polls in a single phase on April 23 across 234 constituencies, with counting scheduled for May 4. The main contest is expected between the DMK-led alliance and the AIADMK-led NDA.
