The father son duo of Arjun Singh and Pawan Singh are both contesting Assembly polls on the BJP ticket from Noapara and Bhatpara Assembly seats in North 24 Parganas district. While Pawan Singh has remained with the BJP, his father Arjun Singh, who wields a considerable influence has often switched sides between BJP and the TMC.
