At this point, Chris revealed some unknown facts during the interview. Chris stated, “Sources that are close to me had told me that, ‘Hey, reiterate that. He never wanted a trade.’
Obviously, he has been applying pressure over the last couple of years in hopes that the Bucks will turn his roster into a championship-contending roster.
He wants to continue for a title for years and years during his prime. But right now he is happy.”
As Chris made clear about the current state of mind of the player, he further added, “I was told he's committed and focused on getting back healthy from the calf injury. He's progressing really well to the point he might even play in the All-Star game on Feb 15.
So with all that said, what ultimately stopped a deal from being made?” The insider revealed the actual reason why the Milwaukee Bucks and the name of the athlete got involved in the trade discussions.
He stated, “The Bucks were simply in the intel-gathering phase. They were trying to figure out what deals were out there. And I think they made the choice and the decision that in the offseason, we are better suited to probably make a play for Giannis Antetokounmpo.”
