The controversy around Nora Fatehi’s song Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke from KD: The Devil has intensified, with the Government stepping in over allegations of vulgar lyrics and visuals.
Following backlash online and a notice by the National Human Rights Commission, the Hindi version was pulled from YouTube. Now, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has reportedly asked the CBFC to take strict action and ensure removal across platforms if violations are confirmed. The song, featuring Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt, has drawn criticism for objectification. Meanwhile, lyricist Raqueeb Alam has distanced himself from the controversial lines.

Riley Green injured after fan throws phone on stage
Country singer Riley Green was left injured after a fan threw a phone at him during a concert in Melbourne. The incident resulted in stitches to his ear, which the singer later revealed in a social media post. Despite the disruption, Green paused briefly, identified the culprit, and had them removed by security before continuing his performance. A video of the incident has surfaced online. Celina Jaitly’s plea closed in brother’s UAE case
The Delhi High Court has closed proceedings on actor Celina Jaitly’s plea regarding her brother Vikrant Jaitly’s alleged detention in the UAE. The court noted that Indian Embassy officials have met him nine times and confirmed he does not wish to communicate with his sister or accept legal aid suggested by her. Vikrant has stated that decisions about his legal representation will be taken by his wife. The court directed authorities to continue providing support and legal assistance.
Celina had earlier claimed her brother was illegally detained since September 2024, raising concerns about his safety.

Kapoor family moves HC in Sridevi property dispute
Producer Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor have approached the Madras High Court in a dispute over late actor Sridevi’s Chennai property. The family has challenged a lower court’s refusal to dismiss a suit filed by claimants seeking a share in the land and alleging fraud in past sale deeds. The High Court has stayed proceedings in the district court until March 26.
The Kapoor family has termed the claims legally unsustainable, also questioning the delay of over three decades in filing the case.
