New Delhi: WhatsApp has recently started rolling out a batch of the latest features to make chats easier to manage and use. This latest upgrade also introduces a tool to free up storage without deleting conversations and adds support for using two accounts on a single iPhone.

With this latest upgrade, the user can now also transfer chats from iOS to Android. WhatsApp is extending its AI capabilities by bringing features like photo editing and writing assistance within chats. These upgrades are currently rolling out, and it is expected to reach all users soon.

This feature enables users to find and delete large files directly within a chat. This actually means the users no longer need to clear entire conversations to free up space. As chats grow over time, they can occupy significant storage due to photos, videos, and other shared files.

The users can now choose to remove only media files while keeping text messages intact. This actually makes it easier to declutter chats without losing important conversations.

WhatsApp is now expanding its chat transfer feature to support transferring chats between iOS and Android devices. If we discuss the previous situation where they were limited to transfers within the same platform, the update simplifies switching phones. It actually means that the users can move their chat history, including photos and videos, without relying on third-party tools.

The users can now log in to two WhatsApp accounts on an iPhone. It has been supposed to make it more easier for users to manage work and personal chats separately. To avoid confusion, the application will display the profile picture in the bottom tab, helping users identify which account they are currently using.

This feature is already available on Android and is now coming to iPhones. It is also improving how the stickers are used in chats. The application will now suggest stickers based on emojis typed by the users, making it quicker to respond with more expressive visuals. With a single tap, users can replace an emoji with a sticker that better matches what they want to express.

AI-powered features to enhance the chats. The users can now edit photos directly within the chats using the Meta AI, by including removing unwanted elements, changing the backgrounds, or applying styles.
