Veteran actor Anupam Kher took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, recalling a special moment from the sets of the 1986 film 'Karma', directed by Subhash Ghai. Looking back at his time on the sets, the actor shared that a pat on the shoulder from legendary actor Dilip Kumar during the shoot made him feel like he had truly arrived in the industry.

Throwback to Karma’s iconic characters

In 'Karma', Anupam Kher brought to life the unforgettable villain Dr. Dang, while the legendary Dilip Kumar played Rana Vishwa Pratap Singh, a determined police officer. Looking back, Anupam fondly remembers this film as a milestone in his career.He captioned the image, "The iconic meeting of Dr Dang with Rana Vishwa Pratap Singh. This was my first day of shoot for Subhash Ghaiji's magnum opus Karma. I was apprehensive, nervous and excited to be in the same frame with the real thespian and legend Dilip Kumar.""His 'Relax! It is only acting that didn't relax me. But his pat on my shoulder after the shot did make me think that I had arrived. There is, and there will be, nobody like Dilip Saab. He is the ultimate actor India has ever produced," he added.

Star-Studded 1986 Classic

Directed by Subhash Ghai, 'Karma' boasted a powerhouse cast including Nutan, Naseeruddin Shah, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Sridevi, and Dara Singh, alongside Dilip Kumar and Anupam Kher. Released on August 8, 1986, the film remains one of Bollywood’s most memorable action dramas.
