The 21-year-old TikTok personality said she made the decision after going through a personal change in her life and finding faith. Valdez spoke openly about the shift in a YouTube video posted on February 2, 2026, where she explained why she no longer wants to continue working on subscription-based platforms that host adult content. Instead, she said she now wants to focus on personal growth and her relationship with God.

The young creator first became popular on TikTok, where she built a large following through dance videos and lip-sync clips under the username @kinzizboo. Over time, her popularity grew across several platforms. But now, Valdez says she wants to take her life in a different direction and leave that chapter behind.

McKinzie Valdez started posting content online in 2019, when she was still very young. Her videos quickly gained attention on TikTok, and within a short time she had built a large audience.

In her February 2026 YouTube video, Valdez reflected on how quickly everything happened. “I was obsessed with becoming famous,” she said. “I had over a million followers on TikTok and more than 300,000 on Instagram before I even turned 17.”As her audience grew, Valdez explained that many of her posts began to focus on her appearance. Looking back, she said that brought pressure she did not fully understand at the time.“Most of the attention I was getting was based on my body and how I looked,” she said. For a period, Valdez also used subscription-based platforms where creators share exclusive content with paying followers. In the video, she described those platforms as “predatory” and said she now feels differently about that part of her career.“I was very impressionable, and I liked the feeling of being famous,” she said. The turning point, according to Valdez, came after meeting someone who introduced her to faith.

She said the experience of visiting church had a strong emotional effect on her.“When I walked into church, I felt overwhelmed,” Valdez said. “It felt like a supernatural experience. I felt free from everything I was attached to.” Because of that change, Valdez said she has decided to stop creating content for those subscription platforms.However, she made it clear that she is not leaving social media completely. She plans to continue posting online, though she has not yet decided what her new content will look like.“At the moment, I don’t know exactly what my content will be,” she said. “But I’m excited for this new journey.” As of now, Valdez has also deleted her Instagram account, @kinzievaldezz, while her other platforms remain active.
