Iran labels Elon Musk firms in West Asia as 'military targets', as US-Iran war escalates and Donald Trump threatens to seize Kharg Island oil hub.

Elon Musk’s Starlink has been offering free internet service through satellite to users in Iran, overcoming the State-led restrictions and crackdown on the flow of information due to anti-government protests.
As the US-Iran war continues to escalate, Tehran is planning to mark Elon Musk’s SpaceX and Starlink facilities across the West Asia as “military targets".
Companies owned by the Tesla boss will be considered “military targets", state-owned Fars News Agency reports.
It said: “All interests related to economic holdings managed by Elon Musk in West Asia, including Arab countries and Israel, have been entirely included in the initial list for drafting new targets."
“Iran reserves the right to attack all facilities related to holdings managed by Musk in the region," it added.
Elon Musk’s Starlink has been offering free internet service through satellite to users in Iran, overcoming the State-led restrictions and crackdown on the flow of information due to anti-government protests, according to a report of CNN.
The satellite-linked internet services were banned by Iranian regime during a crackdown on anti-Ayatollah resistance.
This comes as US President Donald Trump on Thursday issued one of his starkest warnings, announcing that the US will take Kharg Island, Iran’s main oil export hub, along with other oil infrastructure plants. He said the US will assume “total control" over Iran’s oil and gas markets, just like Venezuela.
“The United States will be hitting Iran (Whose Navy, Air Force, Radar, Anti Aircraft, and all other forms of Defense, together with most its offensive capability, are GONE!), VERY HARD TONIGHT," he said on his Truth Social platform.
“At some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure points, and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets, much like we have with Venezuela, which is working out brilliantly for both Venezuela and the United States of America," he added.
He has expressed frustration with Iran’s refusal to accept his terms for a peace deal. Trump had threatened more strikes if Tehran does not immediately agree to a peace deal, although Iran has warned of a harsh response against the use of force.
