The family members of Pooja alleged that Venkata Rao and his family members were responsible for the deaths of the trio
Visakhapatnam: Three members of a family, including a mother and her two children (son and daughter), were found lifeless under suspicious circumstances between Palasa and Talabhadra in Srikakulam district after jumping in front of a speeding train on Friday morning.The deceased people have been identified as Gedela Poojitha (Pooja) and her son Kushant and her daughter Deekshita, all of whom were natives of Chalamayapeta locality under Kotabommali mandal in the district.Pooja, a native of the Bhavanapadu locality, was married to Venkata Rao, an electrician, around eight years ago, and the couple had two children. Pooja’s family members alleged that Venkata Rao was addicted to liquor and that he allegedly harassed his wife.
They added that Pooja was also mentally harassed by her in-laws and that she faced difficulties.The family members of Pooja alleged that Venkata Rao and his family members were responsible for the deaths of the trio, and they raised doubts over the deaths, citing that the deaths were murders, not suicides.The railway police have shifted the bodies to the government hospital in Palasa for post-mortem. The police said they have registered a case of suspicious deaths, and the investigation is on to establish the exact reasons for the deaths of the trio.
