Woman dies of heart attack on hearing about son’s death in Karnataka

Sharada Bai, an 86-year-old woman, died of suspected heart attack after she was told that her son, Lakshmikant Joshi, succumbed to injuries in an road accident near Ghodampalli village of Bidar district on Wednesday night.

Lakshmikant Joshi, 45, and 18-year-old Ravi Pagdoddi, travelling in a goods vehicle died on spot after the vehicle fell into a roadside well near Ghodampalli village. Five others suffered injuries and the condition of two persons, Ashok and Pavan, was said to be critical.
