Woman dies of suspected heart attack during housewarming ceremony in Khammam

The celebratory mood at a housewarming ceremony turned sombre after one of the guests died of suspected heart attack at Puttakota in Khammam urban mandal on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Sushmitha, 44, a resident of Gandhi Chowk in Khammam.

Sources said that Sushmitha attended the housewarming ceremony at her relative’s house on Monday morning. 

She reportedly suffered cardiac arrest while posing for a group photo with her relatives soon after the ceremony.

She was immediately rushed to a local hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
