Woman held for sexual abuse of minor boy for 2 yrs

Agra: A married woman in her late 30s has been arrested and sent to jail in Aligarh district, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly raping a 17-year-old Class 12 student for more than two years. Police said the harassment began when the boy was a little over 14.According to police, the accused—a relative of the survivor who resides in the same town -- forced the minor into a physical relationship. She allegedly threatened the teenager that if he refused her or tried to end the relationship, she would file a false rape case against him and have him imprisoned.Unable to bear the continuous physical and mental ordeal, the teenager eventually confided in his family. His mother subsequently filed a police complaint, stating that her son had been living in constant fear due to the relentless blackmail and abuse.DK Sisodia, SHO of Iglas police station, said. “The boy was being sexually harassed since he was 14-and-a-half-years old. The accused has been sent to jail. Further investigation is being conducted.”FIR against the accused was lodged under relevant BNS sections, including Section 65 (rape on a person under 16 years of age), along with provisions of Pocso Act.
