Woman killed after mini truck hits two-wheeler in Kukatpally

A 22-year-old woman was killed after a mini truck hit the two-wheeler the victim and her husband were riding in Kukatpally late on Saturday (April 4, 2026).

The deceased was identified as Haniya Ayesha (22). Her husband Abdul Basit (26), sustained injuries in the accident.

The incident was reported around 11.30 p.m. According to the police, the couple had gone to watch a movie at Lakeshore Mall and were returning home on a two-wheeler when the mini truck, driven in a rash and negligent manner at high speed, collided with them.

Haniya Ayesha sustained severe injuries and was shifted to a private hospital, where she was declared dead by doctors. Abdul Basit suffered injuries to his left hand and other parts of the body.
