A woman security guard has allegedly been cheated of ₹52,500 in a fake IPL ticket scam, following which a complaint was lodged with the Central Division Cybercrime police on April 10.

The complainant, Sunita Tandava Murthy, works as a security guard with a private agency. She was assigned duty at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on March 28, during an IPL match.
