Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said countries across the world were showing strong interest in India’s growth journey, particularly in technology, innovation, and youth-led development. His remarks came while distributing appointment letters to youth of the country under Rozgar Mela.
Sharing his experience after returning from a five-nation foreign tour, PM Modi said his meetings and discussions during the visit reflected growing global confidence in India’s economic and technological progress.
“Just two days ago, I returned from a trip to five countries. On the face of it, it was just a visit to five countries, but during this time, I had conversations with leaders of major companies from dozens of countries, engaging in detailed discussions," PM Modi said.

He said one message remained consistent throughout the visit.
“During this period, I consistently felt one thing everywhere. The world is very excited about India’s youth and India’s technological progress. Today, the world wants to be a part of India’s development journey," he added.
Speaking about the visit, PM Modi said discussions with the Netherlands focused on semiconductors, water management, agriculture and advanced manufacturing.
He said Sweden emerged as an important partner in areas related to artificial intelligence and digital innovation, while talks with Norway centred around green technology and maritime cooperation.
PM Modi also said India signed significant agreements with the UAE in strategic sectors, energy and technology partnerships.
“With Italy, agreements were reached on partnerships in crucial areas such as defence, critical minerals, and science and technology," he said.
The Prime Minister stressed that the partnerships and agreements signed during the tour would create long-term opportunities for India’s youth and strengthen the country’s position in emerging global sectors.

Focus On Trade, Technology, And Strategic Cooperation
During the five-nation visit, PM Modi held bilateral meetings with several global leaders and interacted ith top business executives to discuss investment, technology partnerships, trade expansion and strategic cooperation.
According to official statements released during the tour, discussions focused on semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence, clean energy, defence cooperation and digital infrastructure.
PM Modi also attended business roundtables and interacted with members of the Indian diaspora, highlighting India’s economic reforms, manufacturing push and growing startup ecosystem.
