Pakistan flag error at FIH Pro League vs India sparks outrage, fans slam organisers over missing white stripe and disrespect to national symbols.

A wrong Pakistan flag was displayed during the national anthems ahead of their clash against arch-rivals India at the FIH Pro League, an act which has left Pakistan hockey fans upset.

The national flag of Pakistan, known as the Flag of the Star and Crescent as well, features a green field with a white crescent and five-pointed star at its centre, along with a vertical white stripe on the hoist side.

Strangely, the vertical white stripe was missing from the flag that was unfurled at the national anthem.

“This is exactly what happens when one sport (cricket) completely dominates everything in Pakistan," a user commented.
