The wait for Iuno, Septimont’s Iuno, is nearly over and is preparing to join Wuthering Waves as part of the 2.6 update’s second phase. The rest of the game’s updates will have to wait as Kuro Games has shared the release date of her banner alongside her signature weapon, allowing players to prepare for her arrival.
Release Date and Timings for Iuno
Iuno’s charming as a 5-star Resonator will be on September 17, 2025, at 10 a.m. server time, with the beginning of the second part of the 2.6 update. Her release time will be different because Wuthering Waves has multiple server regions:
- Asia & SEA servers (UTC+8): September 17, 10 a.m.
- Europe servers (UTC+1): September 17, 10 a.m.
- America servers (UTC-5): September 17, 10 a.m.
Thus, the priestess will be available to everyone at the same time. The only difference is, the countdown for their release will show different timings for the different server’s time zones.
What Makes Iuno Special?
Rumors of Iuno’s arrival have swept through Wanderer’s Archive for the last couple of months, and it’s safe to say that her appearance is the most eagerly awaited one in 2025 so far. Iuno’s lore as the Priestess of Septimont hints at an elegantly powerful kit. While little is known of her abilities as of yet, feared they will turn out to be strong elemental synergy DPS for flexible teams, Iuno indeed seems to be a strong and flexible DPS unit.
Her lore, character design, and synergies make her a highly anticipated character among Rovers.
Banner Lineup: Who Joins Iuno?
The latter part of Version 2.6 brings a banner with three 4-star Resonators, along with Iuno:
- Aalto: Crowd control sub-DPS. Has some use, but is not worth heavy investment.
- Baizhi: An effective healer who works well in low-cost lineups and acts as an inexpensive substitute for paid-support lineups.
- Taoqi: Regarded as one of the weaker Resonators, giving minimal utility even with higher constellations.
While this roster gives players at least one good support option in Baizhi, the rest of the line-up is not very impressive. For many rovers I believe most of the attention will be directed to Iuno.
Weapon Banner: Moongazer’s Sigil and More
Every new Resonator release is paired with a signature weapon, and Iuno’s spotlight is no different.
Her banner will also include Moongazer’s Sigil, a 5-star Gauntlet that is very much tailored to enhance her combat abilities. It will, no doubt, be a priority to obtain for players that want to unlock her full damage potential. The rest of the weapon banner will also feature Celestial Spirit, Relativistic Jet and Fusion Accretion. The 4-star offerings don’t seem to have any standout meta picks, but for newer players they can serve as decent stat sticks. For anyone interested in lore, completing a collection, or simply fishing for the newest powerful Resonator, Iuno’s banner is an alluring offer. Her lineup may lack in quality support, but the community’s attention turns towards her not only because of a new character but the fresh weapon Moongazer’s Sigil. The launch is near, and now we mark the calendars to summon the priestess of Septimont.
