WWE 2K26 has released a new edition of its Ringside Report series, which discusses updates regarding the game’s seasonal progression system and a new patch update related to gameplay.
This update is released as the game is getting closer to its WrestleMania content update cycle. The update discusses how the game’s upcoming content update related to Ringside Pass Season 2 (15 April 2026) will work and what players can expect in terms of rewards and how existing players can benefit from incentives. As part of these updates, Patch 1.07 has been released, which includes various updates related to gameplay, including new moves and improvements in different game modes.
WWE 2K26 ringside pass season 2 updates with reduced RXP requirements
As we approach Season 2, we will be making some adjustments to the Ringside Pass system to assist with a smoother transition through the tiers. Players will earn enough RXP to level up a portion of Season 1 tiers just for logging in, although this will take up to a day to be reflected on accounts.Additionally, players who meet the necessary activity and account-linking milestones before the deadline will also earn a boost of RXP when Season 2 begins.
One of the more interesting changes coming to Season 2 is the reduced amount of RXP needed to level up a tier, reducing from 800 to 625. This isn’t a one-time change, as we will be maintaining this level of requirement going forward. Alongside this, we have also made consumable RXP Boosts more valuable to earn.
WWE 2K26 ringside pass season 2 DLC characters at tier 1
Season 2 is also bringing a change in terms of how characters in downloadable content are made available in the Ringside Pass Premium track.
All four characters in future Premium Seasons will become available at Tier 1 rather than being made available as they are released in DLC content. This means Premium Pass users can access these characters directly from the Ringside Pass menu as soon as a new season begins. This is a removal of a delay in accessing new characters in the game.
Gameplay adjustments introduced in Patch 1.07
Patch 1.07 brings several gameplay refinements aimed at improving match balance and responsiveness.
Stamina consumption has been reworked so that it increases more gradually during matches, helping prevent early exhaustion. Reversal actions now require less stamina in multi-opponent situations, which supports more fluid gameplay in matches involving several participants. The update also raises the damage threshold related to referee interactions, reducing the chance of unintended disqualifications during normal play.
WWE 2K26 patch 1.07 new moves and mode updates
The patch also introduces additional moves to expand in-ring variety. Among the new additions are Chelsea Green’s Cradle Flatliner and Blake Monroe’s Glamour Shot Finisher. These moves add more variety to character arsenals and give players additional options when setting up finishing sequences. Several improvements have been applied across modes such as Creation Suite, Universe, MyFACTION, MyRISE, and The Island. Within The Island, players can now access Prestige directly from the Training menu, which simplifies navigation and progression within that mode.
