The Judgment Day betrays Finn Balor, The Usos seek an apology from CM Punk and more

Welcome to The Times of India's WWE RAW News Roundup. The red brand aired its March 9 episode from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, which was a highly captivating show to witness on the road to WrestleMania 42.

The WWE Intercontinental title in the Men's division saw a major title match, while a new No.1 contender was crowned for the women's division. However, apart from that, the WWE Universe witnessed two major shockers that could alter the landscape of RAW going forward.

The Judgment Day betrayed Finn Balor

This week's show saw an in-ring segment with all members of The Judgment Day. Dominik Mysterio came out with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. He blamed Finn Balor for losing the IC title last week.

Balor came out alongside JD McDonagh. Balor and Dominik continue to have an argument over his title match loss. Things escalated so much that Balor hit Dominik with a Pele Kick and Slingblade. As he was about to inflict more damage, he was intercepted by JD McDonagh.

All four members began to attack him. Mysterio took him out with a steel hammer. He then delivered a 619 and Frogsplash from the top rope. However, Mysterio went up a second time to deliver a Frogsplash with JD holding a chair on Balor's chest.

This marked the exit of Balor from the group as the rest of them stood tall.

CM Punk and The Usos' in-ring segment

CM Punk came out at the end of the show. He went to berate Roman Reigns and said that he was not a fighting champion during his record-setting title reign. The Usos came out and told Punk that he needed to apologize, not for Reigns but their entire family. Punk spoke about the time he spent with different members of The Usos' family, but they continue to urge him to apologize.

He did, but only to see how Reigns treated his Bloodline members for years.

The show ended with Jey Uso pushing him down and a major stare-off between them to close the show.

What are the other highlights from WWE RAW this week?

Bayley outlasted an array of top WWE superstars in a Gauntlet match. She became the new No.1 contender and will now challenge AJ Lee for the WWE Women's Intercontinental title next week on RAW. Oba Femi picked up a huge win over Rusev. Lastly, Penta managed to have his first successful IC title defence against the Original El Grande Americano. In other news, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns will make their return to Monday Night RAW to continue to build on their respective programs on the road to WrestleMania 42.Also read: WWE RAW Results & Highlights 9-march-2026: Bayley becomes No.1 contender, huge title match, major betrayal and more
