WWE RAW aired its March 16 episode from the Frost Bank Arena in San Antonio, Texas. The show featured two highly captivating IC title matches between top veterans, Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 opponent being revealed, highly spectacular matches, an appearance from Randy Orton, and a massive confrontation between Roman Reigns and CM Punk that saw Punk taking a strike right across his face.The show opened with Seth Rollins and his masked men. He berated The Vision, and then Paul Heyman came out. The Oracle brought out Brock Lesnar, who marched down the ramp and took out a lot of those men. He stood with Rollins, but the lights went off, and Oba Femi came out. He manhandled Lesnar like no other before pointing to the WrestleMania sign and accepting his open challenge for a match at the event.
El Grande Americano vs. ‘Original’ El Grande Americano
The two masked luchadors finally had the chance to square off in a singles showdown.
The Original El Grande Americano showed a valiant effort and even fended off Los Americanos’ interference. However, he got knocked out while going for a diving butt as the metal plate was in El Grande Americano’s mask, who then scored the pinfall for the win.
AJ Lee vs. Bayley
This was a dream match contested for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental title. The two veterans produced one of the best matches of the night. As the match approached the end, Bayley missed an elbow drop, allowing Lee to make her submit to The Black Widow and retain her title.
However, she was attacked by Becky Lynch after the match.
Penta vs. Dragon Lee
Penta defended his WWE Intercontinental title against fellow luchador Dragon Lee. It was a classic display of lucha libre and high-flying action that ended with Penta countering Lee’s Hidden Blade move and hitting The Destroyer to win and retain the title.
Maxxine Dupri vs. Nattie
Maxxine Dupri sought revenge against Nattie for her betrayal. She put up a great fight, but was overpowered by the veteran who made her tap out of The Sharpshooter to win the match.
Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez
This was a non-title match between Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez. The match was a chaos as Liv Morgan and IYO Sky got involved. This allowed Vaquer to sneak up on Rodriguez with a roll-up to win the match and build momentum ahead of her match with Morgan at WrestleMania 42.Also read: Why WWE 2K26 is getting negative reviews
