WWE aired the February 9 edition of Monday Night RAW from the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The show featured the first set of Elimination Chamber qualifiers from RAW, AJ Lee returning to the show, and other explosive action.
Moreover, CM Punk will now defend his World title against Finn Balor at the Elimination Chamber PLE before he gets to WrestleMania 42.Becky Lynch opened the show to address her tensions with AJ Lee. This led to the appearance of The Black Widow on RAW for the first time in weeks. The duo exchanged heated words, with Lee making a strong case for being the next challenger to Lynch’s WWE Intercontinental Championship and seemingly challenging her to a title match at Elimination Chamber.
WWE World Tag Team title match
Jey and Jimmy Uso defended their Tag Team titles against No.1 contenders, Otis and Akira Tozawa. The challengers made a valiant effort, but Otis missed a splash in the end, leading to The Usos to hit a double spear and 1D to win and retain their titles.
Lyra Valkyria vs. Ivy Nile vs. Rhea Ripley
This was a triple threat Elimination Chamber qualifying match. The three women battled tooth and nail against each other as it involved high stakes. The final moments saw Thea Ripley hitting a thunderous Riptide on Lyra Valkyria to pick up the win.
Nattie vs Maxxine Dupri
The two former mentor protégé duo clashed in a singles match. However, the match ended quick after Nattie kept punching Maxxine Dupri and referee counted to 10 leading to Dupri winning by DQ. AJ Lee ran down to make the save for Dupri, only to be attacked by Becky Lynch.
Original El Grande Americano & Je’Von Evans vs. Los Americanos
This was a tag team math set for this week’s Monday Night RAW. Following an amazing display of tag team action, the final moments saw Je’Von Evans hitting a Plancha on Rayo, followed by a diving headbutt by Original El Grande Americano to seal the win for their team.
LA Knight vs. Austin Theory vs. Penta
This was the main event of the night, which was triple threat Elimination Chamber qualifying match. The three competitors had a classic display of in-ring competition. In the final moments of the bout, the masked man from the Royal Rumble attacked Austin Theory and was chased by The Vision.
