 Bayley becomes No.1 contender, huge title match, major betrayal, and more

WWE Monday Night RAW aired its March 9 episode from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. The show saw a huge title match for a new champion, a powerhouse clash between two stars, and a new No.1 contender crowned.

Apart from that, the show also saw The Judgment Day turning on Finn Balor in a major shocker that left the audience stunned and CM Punk getting a warning shot from Roman Reigns' cousins, The Usos, despite his good relationship with them.The show opened with RAW GM Adam Pearce calling out Seth Rollins. Suddenly, a lot of masked men surrounded the ring, only for one of them to make their way and reveal himself to be Rollins.

Pearce told him that what he had done to The Vision was not acceptable, but he was willing to move forward. The Vision made their entrance, but Rollins and masked men leave. Jey Uso and LA Knight appear to fight The Vision and stand tall.

No.1 Contender's Gauntlet match for the WWE Women's Intercontinental title

The match started with IYO Sky and Lyra Valkyria. Sky eliminated her with a roundhouse kick that led to Raquel Rodriguez making her way out. She hit a Tijuana Bomb on SKY on the apron, and Ivy Nile came out to roll her back in for Raquel to eliminate her.

Bayley entered next and eliminated Raquel and Ivy Nile. The match came down to Bayley and Asuka. A fought effort saw The Role Model escape the Asuka Lock and deliver a Rose Plant to pick up the win.

She will now face AJ Lee next week for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship.

Penta vs. Original El Grande Americano

The new WWE Intercontinental Champion, Penta, defended his title against the 'Original' El Grande Americano in a singles match. The two masked luchadors produced a highly captivating showdown, which saw Penta retain his championship with a huge Mexican Destroyer on El Grande.

Oba Femi vs. Rusev

The WWE Universe witnessed the first-ever clash between Oba Femi and Rusev inside the squared circle.
