 The Bella Twins return, Drew McIntyre quits, WrestleMania 42 match contract signing, and more

WWE aired the March 13 episode of SmackDown from the Mortgage Matchup Centre in Phoenix, Arizona. The show started with a shocker and carried forward with some exciting in-ring matches that took place in the evening.

The event also featured the return of Jelly Roll and a huge contract signing segment between WrestleMania 42 opponents, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes that was a must-see segment.The show started with Drew McIntyre coming out and expressing his frustrations over losing the Undisputed WWE title to Cody Rhodes last week. He had a huge argument with GM Nick Aldis, which led to Jacob Fatu coming out. After a back-and-forth, McIntyre said that he was done with all of the fans and abruptly quit and left.

Uncle Howdy & Erick Rowan vs. Solo Sikoa & Talla Tonga

This was a tag team showdown between both sides, which was a good match to witness. In the final moments of the bout, Nikki Cross got hold of the sacred lantern. This distracted Sikoa enough for Uncle Howdy to hit Sister Abigail to pick up the win. However, Tama Tonga attacked Howdy and stole back the lantern.

Jade Cargill vs. Michin

The two heated rivals, Jade Cargill and Michin, collided in an exceptional showdown which was a non-title match.

Despite a valiant effort by Michin, she fell to the wrath of The Storm, who finished her off with a thunderous Jaded to pick up the victory. Rhea Ripley came out to the ring after the match. However, Cargill decided to walk away.

Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax & Alexa Bliss

Before the match started, The Bella Twins made their return to SmackDown and announced that they were next in line to challenge for the WWE Women's Tag Team titles. The title match between the current champions, Nia Jax and Lash Legend and Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss was a high-stakes and exciting contest.

The match ended in a Disqualification after Brie Bella entered the ring and attacked Nia Jax.

R-Truth & Damian Priest vs. Los Garza

This was a tag team match between both sides. The fast-paced bout ended with R-Truth and Damian Priest delivering an AA and South of Haven Chokeslam on Angel and Berto to win the match.

Tiffany Straton vs. Kiana James

This was a singles match between the two SmackDown competitors. The highly captivating bout that got cheers from the fans ended with Tiffany Stratton avoiding a boot from Kiana James that took out her associate, Giulia who went straight on Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre.

This allowed Stratton to hit the senton and the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to secure the win.

Jacob Fatu vs. Trick Williams

This was the final match of the night. Trick Williams and Jacob Fatu had a heated yet exciting singles showdown that garnered 'This is Awesome' chants on SmackDown. The match came down to its final moments when Drew McIntyre returned and attacked Jacob Fatu when the referee was not watching. Williams hit Fatu with a Trick Shot to win the match.
