WWE SummerSlam 2025 (August 02, 2025) Results: Sami Zayn overcame Karrion Kross in hard-hitting showdown

The long-standing rivalry between Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross came head-to-head at WWE SummerSlam 2025. The heated collision took place in front of a sold-out MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The duo fought a war against each other in a huge singles match. As the dust settled, Zayn overcame the demon that had haunted him for weeks and picked up a remarkable win.

The match field began to take shape as Karrion Kross made a captivating entrance with his wife, Scarlett. Sami Zayn followed and received a huge ovation from the fans. The duo locked horns and began exchanging blows, putting their weeks of tension on full display.

Sami Zayn did not hold back from showing his aggression to combat the unorthodox fury of Karrion Kross.Interestingly, Kross' wife, Scarlett, proved to be an addition to the match shenanigans. At one point, she handed a steel pipe to Kross, who attempted to take out Zayn, but he countered the move. Following that, Scarlett used her mind games to corrupt Zayn by offering him the Steel Pipe to strike her own husband.

The look on his face showed that he was tempted to use it and embrace the dark side, much like how Karrion Kross had been trying to get Zayn to do.

But Zayn stuck to his morals and threw it outside the ring. Kross tried to roll him up for the pinfall after that, but Zayn escaped. The Underdog from the Underground executed a backdrop and followed it up with a thunderous Helluva Kick to pin Kross' shoulders to the mat and pick up the win.

As he was leaving the ring, he signaled to Kross and Scarlett that their feud was done, while the husband-wife duo were left dejected. Sami Zayn proved that even good guys can finish at the top with his victory at SummerSlam 2025.
