New Delhi: Xiaomi has recently introduced its most unexpected Vision Gran Turismo concept supercar at MWC 2026, marking it the first Chinese automaker to participate in the iconic racing game’s concept car program in its 28-year history. Xiaomi’s own 900V Silicon Carbide platform features a radical, low-slung design with scissor doors, a massive carbon-fiber rear wing, and center-lock wheels hiding carbon-ceramic brakes.

An extreme low-slung posture consistent with mid-engine or central-cockpit layout. This design is very aggressive and aerodynamically driven, with multiple front air-channel intakes, shark-fin roofline structure, T-shaped headlights, and an exaggerated rear diffuser with extensive ducting.

Interior features a butterfly-shaped steering wheel, a panoramic display screen, and a cocoon-shaped sofa for the driver’s seat. Xiaomi badged wheel faces come in a blue finish, matching the light blue wrap seen on the concept.

Vision GT uses Xiaomi’s 900V SiC platform, the same architecture the company developed with a significant chunk of its $1.4 billion EV R&D budget. It houses massive carbon-ceramic rotors designed to handle the kinetic energy of the powertrain in the 1,900 hp range, though Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed the final output figures.

The 900V platform and 1,900 hp claims translate into whether anything production-relevant remains to be seen. Xiaomi’s track record of executing faster than anyone expected, 500,000 cars produced in just 602 days from debut.
