Xiaomi Pad 8 India launch just around the corner

New Delhi: Xiaomi has officially announced that it will unveil its Xiaomi Pad 8 in India on February 28. Xiaomi has also confirmed that this upcoming Xiaomi Pad 8 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.

Xiaomi has also stated that the tablet will be the slimmest and most powerful tablet ever made by the company. Xiaomi Pad 8 was launched in China last year in September with the same processor that India is going to have this time.

Xiaomi has also confirmed on its official website that the Xiaomi Pad 8 will be equipped with a 9,200mAh battery pack, which Xiaomi promises can deliver battery life of up to two days. Xiaomi has also listed the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro and Focus Keyboard on the Xiaomi Pad 8 website.

Xiaomi has not yet confirmed whether these accessories will be bundled with the tablet at no additional cost or sold separately. Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro will going to features an buttonless design, gesture-enabled controls, and pro-level sensitivity. Focus Keyboard will feature adaptive backlit keys and be complemented by a gesture-enabled precision touchpad.

Xiaomi Pad 8 runs on HyperOS 3, and it will feature an 11.2-inch 3.2K resolution LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Display also supports up to 800nits of peak brightness. It is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

In terms of the camera, the tablet also offers a 13MP main camera sensor and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port. It also comes with a 9,200mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.
