Fardeen Khan recently became the subject of online buzz after being spotted at a Mumbai event with a woman in black. A video from the outing quickly went viral, with many social media users mistakenly identifying the woman as his wife, Natasha Madhvani.
Addressing the confusion, the actor has now clarified that the woman was actually his sister.Fardeen set the record straight while exiting the HELLO! Hall of Fame Awards held in Mumbai. In a video from the event, he is seen promptly correcting photographers who had misidentified the woman. He explained that she was his sister, Laila Khan, and not his wife, as widely assumed online.In the clip, Fardeen can be heard saying, “Yeh meri behen hai, biwi nahi hai.
Bahut saare handles mein aap log yahi likhte hai ke yeh meri biwi hai (She is my sister, not my wife. On many handles, you people keep writing that she is my wife)." Laila, amused by the mix-up, is later seen laughing and adding, “It was much needed.”Laila Khan, daughter of the late actor Feroz Khan, is married to businessman Farhan Furniturewala and generally keeps a low public profile.Fardeen married Natasha Madhvani in December 2005. She is the daughter of veteran actress Mumtaz and businessman Mayur Madhvani.
